News has reached us from Britain announcing that those engaged in the shoe industry have succeeded in producing a high-heeled shoe fit to be worn in the morning, in the afternoon, and in the evening.

In the morning the shoe is suitable for wear with the "tailleur." An ornament is fitted to its front, and it then becomes suitable for evening wear, and for the afternoon as well. This ornament is made either of paste materials, of wool, or of leather, and is colored in bright colors.
