OTEG
OTEG EGGS [...] DIPPING EGGS
SHAMLY

Directions for use: Examine the eggs first, and select only the fresh ones.
Dip the egg quickly into the “Oteg” liquid by means of the metal tongs supplied with the tin.
Place the eggs moistened with Oteg liquid on a strip of screening stretched over fixed supports, and leave them at least half an hour in the open air until they are completely dry; then gather them and store them in baskets or in small cardboard or wooden boxes, and keep them in a place temperate in heat and cold.
Intense heat is the only danger, for it melts the Oteg liquid. As for storing in the refrigerator, there is no use in it, since the pores of the eggs are completely sealed.
When you have finished dipping the eggs in this wonderful liquid, its container must be stopped up tightly, lest it evaporate and leave behind a sediment that will not serve the purpose.
