The Blessed Eid al-Adha

This issue of The Woman's Voice appears while the Islamic world is in the joyous flood of the feast — the blessed Eid al-Adha.

Our message, on this noble occasion, is what the feast itself inspires: the necessity of mastering the suffocating materialism in which the world is drowning today, and the necessity of turning, in spirit and in heart, toward that place — toward the dusky mountain, toward Arafat, where man stands face to face before the Great Creator, imploring His mercy and His forgiveness, crying from the depths: O God, here I am at Thy service!

The Woman's Voice offers its readers in the Arab world its most sincere sentiments of congratulation and blessing, hoping that the feast may return to them, and to all the sons of the country, with felicity and good.
