Spring Is Here
Spring is here, and in its coming there is goodness, God willing, and blessing.
Do you not see the branches swaying proudly with buds, the hills draping themselves in flowers and roses with elegance and allure, and the plains rippling with green, coquettish and pampered?
And do you not see people shaking the burden of coats from their shoulders to welcome, with longing, this soft perfumed breeze, and to receive it with open arms into every corner of the body and the depths of the soul...
How beautiful spring is!...
It looks down upon us from on high, as though it were one of the faces of the gods, and it rises before us from here... from all around us, as though it were one of the shades of grace upon this mountain...
And how beautiful spring is...
It perfumes our air with its fragrance, and spreads our lands with its bliss...
And how majestic it is...
It closes our eyes to one thing, and opens them upon many things!...
So hurrah for life anew — and welcome.
