The reader sees Her Ladyship presiding over the sumptuous banquet, surrounded by Dr. Charles Malik, Lebanon's Minister Plenipotentiary in Washington, and his virtuous wife Mrs. Eva; Mr. Edouard Ghorra, the Lebanese Consul General in New York; and other notables and dignitaries. The reader also sees among those present the brilliant lady Dr. Jamal Karam Harfush, one of the prominent members of the Lebanese Women's League.
