Mrs. Fatima Manla Nabli, secretary of the Women's Charitable Society in Tripoli, sent us the following word:

We are pleased to send to the magazine “The Woman's Voice” a photograph of the orphan girls of the “Home for the Orphan Girl,” founded by the Women's Charitable Society. This photograph shows the health evident on the faces of the wards of this home, thanks to the care and the tenderness that reign over the atmosphere of this institution. The food is not below the standard reached in the best Tripoli households, and the sleeping quarters likewise fulfill all the conditions of health, whether as regards the spaciousness of the rooms and their cleanliness, or as regards their ventilation and their exposure to the sun. Thus these orphan girls move, in an atmosphere saturated with compassion and affection, toward a future in which, God willing, they will forget the pains of orphanhood and the bitterness of deprivation.
