The Cover Picture

Mrs. Widad Maqdisi Cortas, who represents the educated, working women's element. We publish her picture on the occasion of the activity she has shown in preparing for the UNESCO conference, on the committee of which she is one of the working members. Mrs. Cortas was elected president of this committee at its first session.

Mrs. Cortas is a mark of pride for the Lebanese woman.
