Mrs. Fayza al-Solh, wife of His Excellency Riad Bey al-Solh, head of the Lebanese Government, gave a party at the Saint-Georges in honor of the wife of the Honorable Ahmad Bey Daouk, Lebanon's Minister Plenipotentiary in Paris, to which she invited a select company of the finest ladies of Beirut.

In an atmosphere of elegance, the ladies gathered in a circle around Mrs. Asma Daouk for several hours, during which she was the object of the guests' admiration.

We publish on this page some pictures of this elegant party, given by a distinguished lady in honor of a distinguished lady of Beirut society.
