campaigner in the field of humanity, who works in this association with a determination that knows neither weariness nor tedium; he is constantly at the side of its administrative committee, keeping himself informed of its affairs and its works. This administrative committee is made up of 23 women members. The association has an honorary president, Dr. Saniyya Habboub.

As for membership in the association, every lady, whatever her community or her nationality, has the right to it, upon her acceptance and the payment of the prescribed fees: the admission fee, which is one lira, and the subscription fee, which is half a lira a month. The number of women enrolled in this association has so far reached one thousand.

As for the association's funds, they are gathered from the admission and subscription fees, from the proceeds of charitable projects and entertainments, and from the fees and charges the association collects in return for the services it renders.

This association will have numerous branches in the Arab cities; its branch in Tripoli will open soon, and this branch will be directed by a company of Tripoli's capable ladies.

It is worth mentioning that material matters do not affect this association's ambitions or weaken its determination; rather it works always and forever to accomplish its endeavors and to steady its steps, relying in this on God first, and on the supporters of virtue and the workers in the field of humanity and the homeland second.
