A Word from the Editors

The Editors

...And here is another superb issue, brought out by your magazine, The Woman's Voice — an issue for whose sake God knows how much we bore, we in the editorial office, and the workers at the press.

We had to reach all the literary circles that knew May, to solicit contributions and to press for them, to write, to verify and to revise, so that this issue might come out in a form we love and approve, and that you would love and approve...

There is no doubt it will satisfy your pride, just as it satisfies ours to some degree — for we still aspire to what is more complete and more lofty.

And we wish to remind you, my dear reader, that work is hard and exhausting when it rests upon creation — and The Woman's Voice wants to create.

Be assured, Madam, that the work this magazine performs, in its editing, its printing, and its production, almost passes the limit of the possible.

And do not forget that your magazine has this year brought out three superb issues: one for UNESCO, one on the women's congresses, in three languages, and this latest one for May...

A work that no Arabic paper in the Arab world has yet been able to accomplish.

And we press onward.
