We ask you to help your little ones understand this page, especially when they are first making its acquaintance; to draw their attention to it, encourage them to use it and to write to us about it, and to help them in solving some of its problems.

You will find six words beneath their pictures. You are asked to distribute the words among the squares just as the word Isabella has been distributed.

[2] Sami's Orchard: In it, as you see, are seven trees. Help Sami divide it into seven sections by drawing three straight lines, on condition that each section contain one tree only.
