The Opening of the 1950 Emigrants' Convention (An Official Photograph)

H. E. CHEIKH BESHARA EL-KHOURI, President of the Republic of Lebanon, opened the 1950 Overseas Convention of the American - Syrian - Lebanese Emigrants, at a reception held at the UNESCO Buildings at Beirut, on Monday August 7th, 1950. His Excellency expressed Lebanon's feelings of warm and hearty welcome to its sons and daughters from across the seas.
