The committee has received many answers from you, young friends, from various schools in the Lebanese cities. We now have a fine and varied collection about your favorite hobbies, in your own language and over your own signatures. Some of you wrote about music, drawing, reading, handcrafts, and photography, and some of you told us about collecting coins and postage stamps, raising birds, drying flowers, etc. — all of which shows that you know how to use your free time in useful and entertaining things.

The judging committee, made up of four teachers, selected five youngsters from among you (without knowing the names) to receive the prizes. They are:

1 — The pupil Bassam Zaki Shakhashiri, the elementary school at the American University of Beirut, Beirut.

2 — The pupil Mona Shaker Nassar: the American School for Girls, Tripoli.
