The Departure of the Merchant Franj Azar

★ In the last week of this past July, the esteemed merchant Mr. Franj Azar left us for Detroit, Michigan, in the United States. Mr. Azar is Syrian in origin, from the village of Ammar al-Husn, and is one of our great emigrants in the American lands; he emigrated there twenty-five years ago and returned to the mother country last year on a private trip. His wife Aida preceded him last month to her new homeland.
