A Medal for Nour al-Huda

The Lebanese government has conferred on Miss Alexandra Badran, known as Nour al-Huda, the Lebanese Order of Merit.

Miss Nour al-Huda has great achievements to her credit in the field of art. Lebanese by origin, she has practiced the art of singing and of screen acting with success for many years. The government seized the opportunity of her present stay in Lebanon and conferred the medal upon her in appreciation of her lofty art. The ceremony of investing her with the medal was held in the office of the Director-General of Information, Mr. Asaad al-Asaad, in the presence of a number of the senior officials of Radio Lebanon.
