• On Wednesday morning, May 6, Dr. Edma Abouchdid leaves Beirut for New York to represent Lebanon at the "First International World Congress on Sterility," whose members will exchange views on the causes of sterility and the diseases of the endocrine glands. This congress will be held between May 24 and 31 of the present month.
Dr. Abouchdid's appointment to this mission came from the board of the congress in New York, with the approval of the American University of Beirut.
She has been elected to the post of permanent national secretary

After the close of the First International World Congress, Dr. Abouchdid will go on to the congress of the American Medical Association, to be held in New York between June 1 and 6, whose agenda includes discussion of obstetrics and the diseases of women. She will not return to Beirut before the middle of next June.
The Woman's Voice wishes Dr. Abouchdid a successful journey, that she may raise the name of the women of Lebanon high in the medical circles of the world.
