Results of the Art and Literary Competition (The Children's Competition)

The pictures preferred on artistic grounds were chosen by secret ballot.

The judging committee was made up of eight members, each of whom voted for the first three, and the result came out as follows:

1 — The first prize went to the little girl Mona Elias Jureidini, holder of number (4); the prize is a "Kodak" camera.

2 — The second prize went to the child Jad Khalil Miqdah, holder of number (11); the prize is a collection of children's stories.

3 — The third prize went to the child Jihad Abd al-Ra'uf Shbaro, holder of number (2); the prize is an "album" for photographs.

The parents of the winning children are kindly requested to call at the office of "The Woman's Voice" on Thursday, September 10, to receive the prizes.

It is worth mentioning that the child Habib, holder of number (7), pressed number (4) hard for first place; but his father, Mr. Fuad Badr, insisted on withdrawing him from the competition, as he belongs to the family of "The Woman's Voice." And so sweet little Habib Badr will receive nothing but congratulations — "plain" — for his wonderful picture...
