Professor Anis Khoury Makdisi

Our great professor Anis Khoury Makdisi left us for Cairo on October 20, to occupy a chair in the Institute of Higher Studies founded by the Arab League in Cairo. With this journey, Professor Makdisi will add a new service in the performance of his noble mission in the field of literature and teaching. He will lecture on contemporary literature — and he is perhaps the one who has gone deepest into these studies.
