* The Zahle Women's Renaissance perseveres in its works with diligence and energy, chief among them this flourishing kindergarten, which has wrought a noticeable change and a beautiful effect on the pattern of instruction and on the increased care given to children in all the schools of Zahle.
It lately held a lovely party, to which the parents were invited together with the members of the association. The children performed with acting and the singing of songs and the delivery of speeches, in a way that gladdened the parents' hearts and spurred the members of the association to yet more watchfulness and care over this young school. And at this party the members busied themselves with distributing the clothes the association had received from the Beirut Child Welfare Committee by way of the Lebanon branch. Joy was plain on the faces of the little ones as they received their gifts with love and tenderness.

And Mesdames Samia Qasim, Zahra Baydoun, and Nabiha Ghandour for publicity and publication. Over tea the members exchanged expressions of affection and confidence, and discussed briefly the most important works it is intended to accomplish this year to lift the Islamic Orphanage to a level worthy of its cultural and humanitarian mission.
