Ribbons... the Latest Fashion!

Has it occurred to you that a ribbon of satin or velvet can work a wonder today in the world of fashion?.. Yes indeed — it turns a worn-out dress into a piece you will boast of wearing before your friends!..

So says the famous fashion designer “Suzanne Gray,” and such is the latest thing devised by the fashion houses this spring.

1 — This wide ribbon of organdy fabric is knotted in a manner at once fetching and elegant... and thus it has restored the sparkle to a gown that was once entirely bare over the back and shoulders.

2 — And these long, trailing ribbons: they are of satin, and are tied, as you see, just below the bust; they suit a party gown, and evening wear.

And the graceful bow of ornamented ribbon adds to the elegance of a white lace gown, and shortens the length of the waist.
