A School... Under Water

مدرسة ... تحت الماء

There stands in California today a school for the children of the stars... in the charge of Mrs. Jean Lovin!...

Mrs. Lovin does not teach reading and writing in her institute... for her pupils' ages range between two months and four years... As for the classroom, it is a spacious pool whose temperature never falls below ninety. And she provides the children with every kind of toy that can be used in the water, and lets them taste the sweetness of experimenting with jumping, diving, and swimming; she also supervises their training and teaches them how to breathe or to rest, and then to dive under the water without fear.

This lady comes of a family with deep roots in swimming, and she astonished the world when she taught her granddaughter Julie, two months of age, how to swim without hesitation... And she counts her own son backward in this sport, since he could not swim before reaching the age of six months!!...
