Honoring the Memory of Rida Naamani Miqdadi

تكريم ذكرى رضى نعماني مقدادي

This is what the representatives of the societies — Village Welfare, Child Welfare, Beirut College for Women, and the Society for Securing Work for Refugee Women — proclaimed on Saturday, March 9, for the late lamented Rida Naamani Miqdadi, at a memorial gathering held for her at the club of Beirut College for Women.

The speakers followed one another: Mrs. Nazik Beyhum, for the Society for Securing Work; Mrs. Faiza Antiba, for Beirut College; Mrs. Anissa Najjar, for the Village Welfare Society; Mrs. Zahia Salman, for the Children's Welfare Society; and Miss Zeinab Abu Ghazaleh, for the refugee women.

The speakers recounted the good works of the late Rida as an active member of these societies, drawing floods of tears and calling down mercies upon her. Mr. Nabih Naamani, director of the Bank Misr Syria-Lebanon, gave thanks in the name of the departed's family.
