Patience

الصبر

The greatest share of the credit for the success of great men belongs first to their patience and perseverance, and second to their natural gifts. For genius trembles before patience and toil, and lofty talents lay down their arms at the feet of great diligence; and therefore it has been said: genius is patience, perseverance, and brilliance.

An Italian poet said: Patience is the supreme courage by which the victor is distinguished, and it is the great virtue with which the striving man arms himself against fortune.
