During last October, Mrs. May al-Solh Yassin and her husband Mr. Anis Yassin, with an accompanying delegation of several ladies, paid a lightning visit to Venezuela. Our agent there, Mrs. Suad Salman, wrote to us describing that visit and the lovely impressions it left in the hearts of the colony. She said:
It gives me pleasure that time affords me an opportunity to greet "The Woman's Voice" and to serve as a connecting link of news between the Lebanese emigrant in Venezuela and his Lebanese brother at home.
On the morning of the 16th of last October there arrived unexpectedly in Caracas, Venezuela, a gracious Lebanese delegation made up of the excellent ladies: May al-Solh Yassin and
her secretary Miss Blanche Daoud, Clauda Thabet, and Mr. Anis Yassin, Mrs. May's husband.

The excellent lady granted my request with every pleasure.
The next day the ladies' delegation, with its president Suad Salman, made its way to the luxurious Tamanaco Hotel, where the guests were staying, and met the gracious personalities; there was acquaintance and there was welcome, in which shone forth the feeling of the refined Lebanese woman and the firm bond that ties her to her country and to the sons of her country.

On the morning of the fourth day, October 19, we bade the visitors farewell on their way to Panama, Mexico, and then the United States, where they will spend some time before returning to Lebanon, leaving with us, out of their kindness and lofty courtesy, the loveliest picture and the sweetest of memories...
