Nuha Salman and Adel Maqsad

Nothing like wedding joys sweetens gloomy airs, such as these gloomy airs now hanging over Lebanon; and the celebration of the marriage of the lovely young Nuha Salman to the handsome pharmacist Adel Maqsad was one of those rare occasions in these days.

The wedding party took place at the house of the bride's father, Mr. Tawfiq Salman, and gathered a number of friends and relatives. After the party the bridal pair set off on a honeymoon journey through the European countryside, to return from it to Khartoum, the seat of the groom's business.
