The New Fashions

One of the most important features distinguishing the London fashion collections is that they arouse the admiration of foreign buyers. An American company has bought the "Digby Morton" collection, which he recently presented to certain fashion houses and firms.

Representatives of the fashion houses of the United States, South America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, South Africa, India, and the European countries visit the fashion houses of London at every hour of the day, among them the houses of "Hartnell," "Molyneux," "Bianca Mosca," "Jacqmar," "Victor Stiebel," "Rahvis," and "Angèle Delanghe."

Some of the leading Parisian fashion designers, men and women, came to London to see these new collections, and they observed that the new fashions interest them to a large degree, particularly in the designing of the fashions of the future, and that the fashion houses of Paris must keep in touch with their counterparts in London.

London has earned its standing thanks to the sound taste and balance it observes in designing its fashions, and to the quality of the fabric from which the clothes are made, such as synthetic fabric, nylon fabric, and fabric made from seaweed.
