You in Your Handwriting

Then you shall know your future and what your personality holds:

1 — Five lines in Arabic and as many in English or French.
2 — Your name and your family name, or the first two initials.
3 — Married or single; the number of your children; the color of your eyes and hair; your height in meters and the weight of your body in kilos; what do you do? What is your occupation?

State all this information, and "Psychotec" will answer you in the first issue of The Woman's Voice to appear. And in our desire to serve our gracious readers, we have also arranged with "Psychotec" for the interpretation of dreams. The conditions are the same as set out above.

Note: You must write in the upper corner of the envelope the name "Psychotec" and address it to the magazine The Woman's Voice — Beirut, P.O. Box 1286.

S. B.
A liberated, unrestrained personality, impulsive in its pleasures; she adores gain and cannot bear to be crossed. Troubles will befall her after marriage, but she will overcome them. A moderate life, but a full one.

A. J.
A personality obscure to anyone who judges only by outward appearances. Endearing and affectionate, frank — and your frankness may drag you into error. Beware of people. Your future depends on how far you master your faults.

D. M. Georgette
A personality that intends nothing but good; wise; she must keep watch over herself for her own improvement. She falls into contradictions, and that from her lack of forbearance and from her nervousness. Leave no room for outside influences upon you; go deeply into your affairs. Your future depends on your flexibility.

B. A. Kh. (Btaym)
An independent personality, simple of heart, slow to anger, of piercing, alert intelligence; she is no object of mockery, and she has often imposed herself upon those who tried to take her for other than what she truly is. A middling fortune. A steadily growing happiness. Marriage to an official.

A. A. H. (Haifa)
A personality frank through and through, open; she loves people without return. It would be better if she were sparing with her love and so chose her friends. A possible surprise in six days or six weeks after the tenth of December. You must not then let pride and haughtiness carry you away, for in that lies harm and loss for you.

F. A. H. (Haifa)
A vigilant, wary personality with a touch of self-regard in it; she is wary of people and is not taken in by appearances. Men admire her greatly, and she is the cause of their misery unless with her they possess a great measure of gravity and sobriety. A journey before marriage.

H. S. (Beirut)
A realistic personality, except that certain experiences from times past, which she underwent in the dawn of her youth, incline her to hesitation. Good-hearted and of great fortune; it may come in fourteen days or fourteen weeks after the eighteenth of December. A vast fortune awaits you in the future, provided you keep your good sense and your gravity.

M. Ibrahim J. (Baghdad)
A complicated personality that people find hard to understand, for its appearances are contradictory, and it goes by its whims and instincts. Your heart is tender and good: your fiancé will learn this when he becomes your husband. Your future is happy — people will envy you for it — far from want; on the contrary, wealth is near you. A great success awaits you, if only you know how to repay a kindness.

S. D. (Beirut)
A personality enslaved to its inclinations, with something of affectation in it. Would that you adorned yourself with simplicity and attended to yourself, instead of this intense concern with others — then you would secure your future. A long journey. An inheritance. A moderate but full life. You must perform good works.

M. M. (Beirut)
An elegant personality, of delicate feeling, a very attractive nature. Made for tenderness and happiness, but impressionable to the point of excess: correct that, and you will succeed. Marriage to a cultivated young man of a liberal profession. A lovely journey. If you are a woman of piety, then persevere in prayer, for that is the best thing you can do.

A. S. (Aleppo)
A soft, distinctive personality, given to brooding and at times misunderstood; she loves beautiful things and everything splendid and gleaming. She has her hours of sadness — cafardeux — and makes life complicated with imaginings. A marriage attended by difficulty. A life with some calm in it, and long.

A. J. (Beirut)
A personality that follows its whims, yet sober and constructive at bottom. Would that she were more supple and more accommodating. A will in need of taming, for a notable success in the future despite its heavy frown. You must be patient, for haste does you much harm.

B. A. S. Kh. (Jerusalem)
A very orderly and methodical character, distinguished by a positive spirit that is always delving into the essences of people and of things; a touch of philosophy and of poetry. Intelligence, fidelity; she loves clarity, light, and justice. Devoted to principles and to the following fundamental theories: all the things whose desiring you master can carry you far, toward a flourishing future.

H. M. F. (Jerusalem)
An easy, practical character, very alert, accompanied by a mark of masculine nervousness which has served her well until now, so that it has become more fitting to channel it into a positive, fruitful vitality. Much surrounded and much loved. You can be the cause of concord or of discord. You will marry a high official belonging to a foreign family, and it will most likely take place fourteen months from December 24.

S. D. (Beirut)
An independent temperament, and not free of weakness. Your withdrawal into yourself has none of the suppleness proper to your years that would make you more attractive and encourage the best intentions. Look soon for a very pleasant surprise... but beware, when it comes, of displaying your happiness with a great deal of noise.
