You, in Your Handwriting — Psychotique Takes a New Title

Psychotique

انت في خطك - بسيكوتيك يتخذ لقباً جديداً · بسيكوتيك

Mr. Psychotique has decided to take a new title: "Astrologique." Its meaning in Arabic is "astrologer." So you may write to him, that he may tell you, this time, what the future holds in store for you.

The conditions are the same, but to them must be added: (1) the date of birth — year, month, day, hour, and minute if possible; (2) the color of the complexion; (3) the names of the parents; (4) the place of birth; (5) the occupation; and (6) your hope for the future.

For the rest of the conditions, consult past issues of "The Woman's Voice."

A complicated character, somewhat crooked. Best that you be courageous in your frankness. A sudden marriage — but do not think about it... journeys for recreation...

A well-rounded character, upright, kind to the utmost... Guard against pitfalls... A future of comfort... marriage to an official... middling happiness.

A nervous character; you search for truth in beauty... not understood by ordinary people... you exert a profound influence upon others... marriage to a liberated man... a long life, full of noble works.

A character that inclines toward gentleness in its simplicity, and hesitates a great deal. Yet it has certain "escapades." You know how to profit from life, in silence... a long journey. Many adventures.

A character which, outwardly, indicates nothing; yet it is, in reality, "dynamic" when it sets its will... and in directing that will it does not always aim at lofty things... a trait that must be corrected... a sudden marriage.

A carefully guarded character. A power, almost magical, that works dangerously upon men. Fortunate success in the future... many enemies... a love marriage.

A character faithful in the extreme. Awareness in thinking... a heart kind to the utmost... yet this kindness is mixed with a love of painful jesting... a rich marriage... a middling life, but one with no emptiness... some travels...

A troubled and incomprehensible character. Sensitive and stubborn. Farsightedness, and precision in judgment. She does not know, exactly, what she wants or how to proceed — the exchange of feelings is missing; and yet, you will make a fortunate and happy marriage.

A comical, strange character, and very charming. You have set some heads spinning... and destroyed others. A brilliant future. An early marriage. Numerous travels, and abundant wealth.

S.Sh. (Homs)

A somewhat pampered character... yet it is, at bottom, level-headed... Ample fortune awaits you if you know how to open your eyes and look about you, for they love you and wish you well. A somewhat late marriage, but a rich one.

A.A.R. (Baghdad)

A character out of keeping with your age... Try to find harmony between yourself and your friends. Happy news after 4 or 5 months from the fourteenth of April... Be composed: your happiness depends upon the measure of your sobriety. A long journey.

N.Q. (Amman)

A character driven to excess, and unnatural, yet very faithful, and it must serve... Your imagination and your fancies lie outside the range of your will... And yet, you will succeed. A sudden marriage.

R.A.K. (Palestine)

A character very near to the heart, which creates an atmosphere of charm and optimism, yet it does not agree well with those of its own sex. A long journey. Marriage abroad. A long life. You will triumph thanks to sobriety...

A.B. (Jaffa)

A practical character, and not withdrawn. Eyes and ears open... not easily taken in... You have fallen into an offense of some importance. Many young men circle about you, and you are right not to be hasty. Marriage to a thinker, but it is far off.

W.Sh. (Beirut)

An optimistic and somewhat fanciful character. A will that is nearly weak, especially with the other sex. It seems your future inclines toward being abroad, and there you will make a love marriage. A long life... danger.

D.N. (Baghdad)

A pampered character... inclined to painful jesting, and to small adventures... They love you dearly, while you show indifference and mockery... They will envy you in your future... An early marriage, and into a distinguished rank.
