What We Wish for You

ما نتمناه لكِ

It is a person's right to benefit from modern science in all the sides of his life. Science has shortened distances for him, and has prepared for him the radio, the telephone, the telegraph, electricity, and the other conveniences that lend our lives enjoyment and prepare for us the means of comfort.

Science has entered our homes as well: and so we now iron by electricity, cook by electricity, clean the floors of the house by electricity, and kill insects and their like with the cheap kinds of preparations science has discovered. We also keep our food from one day to several days by means of the methods of refrigeration science has offered us.

Were we to count up everything science has managed to produce up to now, space would fail us, and you, madam, would find no benefit in it nor any need of it. For you have doubtless heard of it, or tried some of it yourself, if God has blessed you with the means its acquisition requires.

"The Woman's Voice" has had the chance to obtain two pictures showing the latest that the modern kitchen has attained in the way of chilling food and preserving it. We wish that every one of our homes might manage to obtain it; then would the life of the housewife — nay, of the whole family — be at its very best in order, cleanliness, and comfort.
