Fashions... for Comfort

أزياء.. للراحة

Trousers for ladies are not a new fashion; they were known a hundred years ago — witness the fact that George Sand, the famous French novelist, used to wear trousers for no reason other than that she found them comfortable. The creators of fashion have endorsed her view by making these pajamas for use in hours of rest. All the trouser fashions published here are for wear inside the house. These fashions range from the wide trousers made of linen, which are worn on the beach, to trousers of trim cut like men's trousers, worn for going out in town and country. The latter trousers are made either of soft-napped serge cloth or of heavy woolen tweed. Marlene Dietrich, the American actress, created this fashion for the well-dressed woman when she appeared one day in Central Park in New York in a gray suit made up of trousers and a jacket. And Marlene says this suit is the most comfortable dress for travel.
