Harbingers of Summer

تباشير الصيف

It appears that the heat in Lebanon this year is coming to us with eagerness and longing, ahead of the appointed times it used to set for us in years gone by. And so the shore has begun to restore what winter had effaced of its features of gaiety and free abandon, in preparation for welcoming all who are granted the liberty of enjoying the beneficial warmth of the sun, the play of the gentle breeze, and rapture in the spacious embrace of the sea.

There is no doubt that the sun and the water of the sea carry a benefit that goes beyond the body; one feels a resolve and a vigor that reach one's mind and spirit. Summer therefore offers us a very precious opportunity, which we ought to seize well.

So welcome to summer and its happy harbingers.
