♦ Our friend the artist Mr. Radwan al-Shahhal and his virtuous wife have been blessed with a child, whom they have named Ibrahim. May God make him one of the children of well-being.

♦ The great woman of letters Mrs. Asma Tubi has returned to Acre, Palestine, after spending a stretch of time in the hills of Lebanon. She has promised us to continue contributing to 'The Woman's Voice' her delightful articles, which readers no doubt await with the greatest impatience.

♦ 'The Woman's Voice' continues its weekly broadcast over Radio Lebanon at half past seven on Saturday evening. We draw attention to it, and we note that the magazine welcomes every contribution to these broadcasts offered by our Arab women writers.

♦ 'Dar al-Kitab' has published the valuable sociological work entitled 'Social Relations in the Arab East' by Dr. Stuart Dodd, the famous sociologist. The book is now within reach of anyone who asks for it at the large bookshops or from the publishers directly.
