◆ And from the excellent lady Mrs. Iqbal Izz al-Din Zouk we have received the following word:

After greetings: kindly publish this word in the pages of the flourishing magazine The Woman's Voice, in the first issue to appear, in thanks for a work of piety and charity:

The Women's Charitable Society of Tripoli offers its sincerest thanks and its deepest gratitude, with all respect, to the benefactress and excellent woman of letters Mrs. Salma al-Haffar, for presenting to the orphan girls' home attached to the Women's Charitable Society of Tripoli the first prize she won in the competition held by The Woman's Voice for an article on the subject of "Childhood Memories," amounting to twenty-five Lebanese liras. May God grant her the finest of rewards on our behalf; and the society offers her its heartfelt congratulations on winning the competition.
