Elections of the Lebanese Arab Women's Federation

◦ On the twenty-second of February, the Lebanese Arab Women's Federation met at the Military Club to elect a president and officers to serve the bureau for three years. The result was as follows: the woman of letters Mrs. Evelyne Bustros, president; Mrs. Salwa Mahmasani Moumina, vice president; Mrs. Nazik Sarkis, recording secretary; Mrs. Hassaneh Daouk, treasurer; Mrs. Husseina Freiha, secretary for domestic correspondence; and Mrs. Lama Beyhum and Miss In'am al-Saghir, for foreign correspondence.

It is worth mentioning that the elections took place in an atmosphere of calm and affection. "The Woman's Voice" congratulates the new president and the members of the bureau who have won this confidence, and hopes that under their tenure the Federation will be able to realize the broad hopes of woman in this country.
