The Lebanese Woman at the Child Protection Conference in London

المرأة اللبنانية في مؤتمر حماية الطفل في لندن

... At last our government has begun to think seriously that woman is the best one to handle social affairs. So it sent an "ambassador extraordinary" to the conference mentioned above.

What distinguished the "ambassadorial" delegation this time is that its head, Mrs. Adelaide Richani—who has dedicated herself to social work for a quarter of a century—went without a "retinue" and without charging anyone the costs of her stay and her travels in the capital of our old friend England. She took nothing but her travel papers, there and back... that and nothing more...

"The Woman's Voice" sat down with Mrs. Richani and heard from her much that was novel and delightful.

In the next issue we shall publish Mrs. Richani's report on what she saw in London and on her personal observations. Until then, farewell.
