The Dawn... a Communist?!

The dawn is a communist:
Do you not see how it wears no robe but red,
and deals out its dew to all men alike,
rising upon the toiling masses
before it rises upon the capitalists
and the exploiters,
and looking out upon the world from the East
as the Soviet state looks out over Europe
and America?
A thousand thanks to God: it visits us while the security men
are snoring,
so it has not yet come in for arrest!
