Melvina Fayyad Trad
She received the gilded Lebanese Order of Merit in reward for her charitable struggle.
And sorrow was deepened by the passing of her son-in-law, the late Jibrat Fayyad, on the day of her death. He was one of the pillars of the Society for the Aid of the Sick. They were buried in a single funeral. May God grant our ladies recompense with others like her.

خسرتها البلدة ، فاضلة نبيلة . خدمت الانسانية خمسين سنة ، في جمعيات زهرة الاحسان ، ومستشفى مارجرجس والشفقة العائلية . مستمرة في جمعيتها الاخيرة ٣٢ عاماً .
نالت وسام الاستحقاق اللبناني المذهب جزاء جهادها الخيري .
وزاد الاسى انتقال صهرها المرحوم جبرات فياض يوم وفاتها . وهو من اركان جمعية مساعدة المرضى . وقد دفنا في مأتم واحد . عوض الله سيداتنا امثالها .
