Two Lebanese Women to the United States for Specialized Study
★ There lately departed from Lebanon the Misses Leila Labaydi and Abla Abi Abdallah, both graduates of the American University, for the United States, to pursue specialized study at the expense of Point Four. It is a source of pleasure to us that the way should be opened before the Lebanese woman, and the paths smoothed before her, that she may lay her polished stones for the building of a better homeland and for the raising of the standard of living and of culture — the latter in particular.
