The Death of Mrs. Hetty Jureidini Ibrahim

وفاة السيدة هتي جريديني ابراهيم

On the forenoon of the eighth of last June, death carried away a noble womanly figure, Mrs. Hetty Jureidini Ibrahim. It snatched her away in the dawn of her mature years, struck down by a baffling disease that defied medicine. The news of her death fell hard upon her family, those who loved her, and those who knew her worth, for she was known for a rare intelligence and a lofty energy, which all her life she employed as a support for the weak and a tender refuge for every needy and wretched soul.

The virtuous deceased was from Choueifat. She leaves grieving for her a noble husband, Mr. Abd al-Razzaq Ibrahim, Director General of Social Security and Labor in the Iraqi Ministry of Social Affairs, and four children: Mr. Michel Jureidini, Dr. Amin Jureidini, Mrs. Helen Jureidini, and Mrs. Edvick Jureidini Shayboub, as well as a great number of relatives and friends.

The Lebanese Women's League asks mercy and rest for the soul of the departed, and patience and fair consolation for her family, singling out among them her daughter, the editor-in-chief of this magazine, and the departed's sister, Mrs. Nazik Sarkis.
