A Joke: Linda and the Record

* Little Linda was lying on her back on the floor of the room, singing merrily. When her mother looked over at her again, she was lying on her stomach, humming a new tune. The mother asked:
'Is this a game, dear?'
— 'No, Mama. I'm pretending to be a phonograph record, and now I've been turned over to the other side.'
* كانت ليندا الصغيرة مضطجعة على ظهرها ، في ارض الغرفة ، تغني بمرح وعندما تطلعت امها اليها ثانية كانت نائمة على بطنها ، تترنم لحناً جديداً فسألت الام :
« هل هذه لعبة يا عزيزتي ؟ »
— « نم يا ماما . انتظاهر بأني اسطوانة فونغراف ، والآن قلبت على الوجه الثاني » .
