A Word That Must Be Said
The Lebanese community lives in French Africa a life of serenity and concord. No one has any complaint, for all are one before the law. And the men of authority appreciate the efforts of the community's sons on this continent—those efforts of construction and economy performed by the Lebanese striver, who has been struggling and contending with honor and sincerity for a hundred years.
