...It was an outpouring of goodness and blessing — her life — in the history of my country. A hand that never stretched out except to give, and a heart that never beat except with love.
Great among the women of my country she was — Julia Tu'mah Dimashqiyah — great in being one of the first pioneers, and great in that she persevered, faithful, in the delivery of her mission to the last breath, so that her life stands as an example for every lady.
Gracious tokens of remembrance The Woman's Voice here records for her; and the least of Julia Dimashqiyah's claims upon the magazine, on her fortieth day, is the publication of this issue to her memory.
... كانت دفقة خير وبركة - حياتها - في تاريخ بلادي . يداً لم تمتدّ لغير العطاء ، وقلباً لم يخفق بغير المحبة .
عظيمة بين نساء بلادي كانت - جوليا طعمة دمشقية - عظيمة في كونها من الرائدات الاوليات ، وعظيمة في انها ثابرت امينة ، في اداء رسالتها حتى النفس الاخير ، فاذا حياتها مَثَلٌ لكل سيدة .
لفتات كريمة تذكرها لها « صوت المرأة » ، وان اقل حقوق جوليا دمشقية ، في اربعينها ، على المجلة ، اصدار هذا العدد لذكراها .
