Dr. Salwa Nassar Resumes Her Research in Nuclear Physics

الدكتورة سلوى نصار تستأنف ابحاثها في الفيزياء النووية

On the seventh of last February, Dr. Salwa Nassar, head of the physics department at the American University of Beirut, left for the United States to pursue her research in nuclear physics. Dr. Nassar will spend five months at the University of Michigan, and from there she will move to Oak Ridge, in Tennessee, the largest center for research in the nuclear sciences of every kind, where she will remain until the end of August.

It is well known that Dr. Salwa Nassar has long been calling for the founding of an institute for nuclear research in Lebanon, and there is no doubt that this visit of hers to the most important centers of atomic research in the world will be of the greatest benefit, acquainting her with the latest experiments the physicists have achieved...

Shortly before boarding the plane, Dr. Nassar declared that she would furnish our readers with the choicest new fruits of her research.

And The Woman's Voice, which has always been in the forefront of those who know Dr. Nassar's worth, wishes her an easy journey and success in the arduous mission to which she has devoted her life.
