For the Encouragement of National Industry

The national industrial societies of Beirut are uniting their efforts to hold, at the end of the month of April, a week for the encouragement of national industry, under the honorary presidency of Mrs. Eveline Bustros, with the participation of the Industrialists' Association and the economics students of the American University of Beirut, and with the care of the Young Women's Christian Association, the Young Muslim Women, the Villages Welfare Society, and others. The week will include industrial displays, radio speeches, an opening ceremony, and an industrial exhibition to be held on April 29 in the American University's West Hall, where everyone will give their attention to national manufactures; the ladies will likewise visit the great national factories and rally to their support.
