Mrs. Robinson Speaks to Lebanon's University Women

Ever since Dr. Edma Abouchdid assumed the presidency of the association of university women graduates in Lebanon, she has worked untiringly, exerting her efforts to carry her association from the theoretical plane to the fruitful practical plane. She seized the opportunity of the presence in Beirut of one of the prominent university women who work at the United Nations, and invited her to speak on the activity of university women in various parts of the world, particularly in America, whether on the broad cooperative plane or on the narrow individual one. The hall of the Medical Association was packed with Lebanon's university women on the afternoon of Sunday, March 31 last — and perhaps in this showing there is something to encourage the rebirth of hope in this great organization of university women.
