Dr. Salwa Nassar at an Atomic Conference

الدكتورة سلوى نصار في مؤتمر ذرّي

We have said it more than once: in the person of Dr. Salwa Nassar, Lebanon possesses a scientific treasure without equal. And today she gives fresh proof of our words by representing Lebanon at the conference on the use of radioactive materials in scientific research.

This conference will be held in Paris under the auspices of UNESCO, between the 8th and the 21st of September next. The preparations appear to be immense, and more than a thousand scientists from all parts of the world are expected to take part. Dr. Salwa Nassar has promised to favor "The Woman's Voice," soon after her return to her work at the American University of Beirut at the end of September, with a talk on the results of the research.

We wish her every success...
