Lily Badre Leaves for America

سفر لي بدر إلى أميركا

Mrs. Lily Badre, one of the active members of the Lebanese Women's League, left by plane at noon on Wednesday for America, to join her husband Dr. Albert Badre, head of the Economic Research Institute at the American University of Beirut, who is at present on his annual leave in the United States, lecturing in economics at Princeton University and working, within his specialty, at the United Nations.

Dozens of family and friends were at the airport to see her off.

Mrs. Lily Badre will spend six months moving about the American land, sightseeing and observing, before returning to rejoin her family at the beginning of next summer.

We wish our friend a happy and successful journey.
