The Annual Literary Competition of the Arabic Service of Radio Paris

المباراة الادبية السنوية للإذاعة العربية في محطة باريس

The Arabic service of the Paris station holds annual literary competitions, and this year it has devoted them to the poem and the short tale (that is, the short story):

Conditions of the competition:

First — The poem — or the tale — must be original compositions, not translations, and unpublished.

Second — Three typewritten copies of each are to be sent by registered mail, signed with a pen name. In a small envelope the title of the poem — and of the tale — is to be given, together with the author's real name and full address.

Third — The final deadline for entries is the thirtieth of June 1958.

Fourth — The entrants' works will be examined by a committee appointed by the literary section of the Arabic service of Radio Paris. The two winners will be announced on a day to be fixed between the fifteenth of July and the thirty-first. It is stipulated that the members of the committee take no part in the competition.

The prize:

The two winners will be invited to Paris, a stay of ten days there will be arranged for them, and they will be returned by airplane, at the expense of the Arabic service of Radio Paris.

The literary section of the Arabic service of Radio Paris retains the entrants' works.

The address:
