Barakat Fashions

ازياء بركات

At the beginning of April the tailor-designer Antoine Barakat organized an "exhibition of men's fashions" for the year 1958 in the hall of the Hotel Biarritz, in which appeared novel suits given various names, among them "Baalbek" and "Lebanon."

The "mannequin" Ghandour Abu Aziz shows the "Lebanon" suit, made with a single piece for the front and a single piece for the back; the collar too was designed in one piece.

And Miss Gisèle Nasr, queen of the Lebanese shore, appears in a costume called "Serpent" (the peaceable snake).
