Study Your Personality: Your Lips Will Tell You!.. And Your Fingernails Too... And the Color of Your Hair

ادرسي شخصيتك. من شفتيك تعرفين!.. ومن اظافرك ايضا... ومن لون شعرك

1 - Thin lips.. betoken selfishness and cruelty.. their owner is a coquette.. skilled in the art of attraction and ensnarement.. and delights in tormenting hearts and breaking them..

2 - Arched lips: their owner is cunning and wily.. with a surpassing gift for devising tricks and arranging them.. and a fertile imagination for inventing tales and fabricating them..

3 - A drooping lower lip betokens a biting, critical tongue and a mocking nature.. one that has renounced life and turned away from its delights..

4 - If the upper lip is higher than the lower, this betokens a strong, masterful personality.. an active, industrious spirit, fond of inquiry.. with a passion for prying..

5 - But if the lower lip is higher than the upper, this betokens a shy, timid nature.. easily led, and possessed of a great deal of simplicity and naïveté.

6 - Large lips betoken a kind heart and a lofty, proud spirit.. generous, inclined to giving and bestowing.

7 - Lips turned upward betoken a merry, joyful spirit.. brimming with optimism.. inclined to fancy, living in a world of ideals and dreams.

Our ladies may sometimes neglect the care of their fingernails, taking no interest in the cleanliness and polish of this important part of their hands, on the claim that these are parts that do not show and seldom catch a man's eye. This is a false claim, for the nails are the most important part of a woman's hand. Like an elegant gown on a beautiful lady, they lend the soft, delicate hand beauty and charm.

The expert, discerning man can, with a single glance at a woman's nails, discover something of her character and temperament — and at times the kind of work she does, if she has a particular occupation.

1 - Short nails: they show that you are quick of understanding and ready of wit. And if you have work you earn your living by, you are a writer at the typewriter (Typist).

2 - Very long nails: the owner of these nails, exaggerated in length to a hideous degree, is usually one of those affected women who lay claim to the "high life" and love display, and love to catch men's eyes by every means, lawful and unlawful.

3 - Trimmed nails, carefully polished, neither long nor short: the owner of this hand is usually a "respectable lady," careful of her elegance, attentive to every detail, small and great, of her appearance and bearing.

4 - Misshapen, short, bitten nails: they show that you are nervous of temperament, quick to agitation, short of patience, and without resource or guile.

5 - Nails polished hastily and without care: your motto is always "In haste lies safety" and "your time is gold," because you rarely find a full free hour to polish your nails with deliberation and care; and you are usually a "society lady," beloved by others, with position and personality in polite society.

6 - Nails polished in strange, unfamiliar colors: their owner is usually "chic," possessing a fair collection of dresses in different colors, and possessing likewise a fair fortune that allows her to buy a "manicure" for every dress; and she is possessed by vanity about herself and admiration for her own "striking" personality.

7 - Nails painted a loud red: if you prefer blood-red for the painting of your nails, then you are without doubt a dreamy girl, "young in years," in a new state of love.

The black-haired woman: the instinct of mastery is prominent in her. She inclines to saving. Cunning, she knows your thoughts and the motives of your conduct, and if you take her as your life's partner she will play an important part in your destiny without letting you feel it. A skilled swimmer; and if she undertakes a project it succeeds to the utmost, and whatever obstacles cross her path she perseveres in her work until she reaches what she aspires to. Her good qualities are many, though her pride may stir up some criticism around her.

The blonde: kind of heart, gentle, shy, inclined to fancy, to reading, and to sentimental music. She does not tell the truth as it is, but adds to it something from her imagination, and she knows how to move her hearers with her tears. If you encourage her in her work she produces the best of results, and she works not out of mere ambition but to reach her sentimental ideal. She is not always sincere in her love, and sees no objection to handing you her reins!

The chestnut-haired woman: merry, quick with a jest, never wearied by her constant motion. Always first in her class. Her future lies in the liberal professions. She learns quickly everything she wants to learn. So full of energy that she can compete with her peers of the rougher sex.

Her friends are numerous, thanks to her lightness of spirit and her fluent tongue; she chooses well, because her heart never rushes headlong — that is, if her complexion is fair. But if she is dark, then her heart inclines to everything sentimental and tender.
